Review of This Means War (2012) by Travis R — 12 Aug 2012
This is nothing more than Hollywood fluff, but at least it is pretty entertaining Hollywood fluff. As an action/romantic comedy hybrid, This Means War manages to poke fun at the conventions of both genres.
Although it leans more heavily on the "comedy" (here comedy doesn't really mean "funny" but rather "fun and cute") than the action, that's fine since the three leads all have an undeniable chemistry with each other, and the straightforward action scenes tend to be so flashy and generic that they end up being pretty boring to watch.
