Review of This Means War (2012) by Alan Fong D — 21 Aug 2012
Watching this on a special Valentine's Day screening never felt weirder. Not bad for a date movie that is filled with vulgar jokes, creepy stalkers and dose of espionage action. Aside from highlighting the 'Bromance' theme along the plot, there's really nothing much to tell other than two gentlemen of different nationality (One's British, another's American) keeping their eyes on the same prize: Reese Witherspoon.
Some parts of the movie might be too creepy in reality, I mean who could ever breaks in and spy on one's crush Navy Seal style? Plus, inserting a sub-plot about a villain setting out to avenge his brother's death doesn't help at all.
While some parts really got me laughing out loud, others only do me mild chuckling. But still, this is one of the entertaining films so far before the advent of summer blockbusters season.
