'This Means War' is an easy, fun, (b)romcom. There are major flaws with the plot and style but we can get over this and laugh at what's funny, admire what's to be admired and enjoy it as is. There is little romantic chemistry between the characters but there is chemistry between the actors and with the audience. The storyline is not be taken seriously and the "serious" sub plot needed to either be bolstered significantly or done away it as it only served as a distraction. The ending also left a lot to be desired but there were plenty of scenes throughout where the audience were laughing very hard.

Rating: "Out for an evening with 3 great friends and a few awkward others you kind of know".
