Review of This Is Spinal Tap (1984) by Ifiok O — 12 Nov 2009
The satire in 'This is Spinal Tap' is pretty poignant, considering it hits a bit of a nerve for those who are involved with Hard Rock and Heavy Metal. But nevertheless, it's still embraced by some of those same people (including me).
The songs from the band are pretty funny, and surprisingly they're actually pretty good, too. Director Rob Reiner certainly made one of the best Mockumentaries ever, one by which all others of its genre are measured.
