Review of This Is It (2009) by Angiet — 16 Nov 2009
It's too bad that most of the zero rated votes come from people who haven't seen the film but look for any opportunity to slam anything Michael Jackson. For me, the film brought some measure of clousre as It allowed us to visit the final days of this true genius and to witness his light still brilliant even given what apparently could not have been easy days for the man.
Although in practice mode, his dancing and singing continued to dazzle. His modest and unassuming nature, given his standalone talents, make me view Michael Jackson with more respect than ever. Yes, the film captures only selected footage, fair enough.
But we are watcing the world's finest at work. Compelling and highly entertaining.
