A sad but excellent film by Shane Meadows about a young boys flirtation with English Skinheads during 1983. Clearly Meadows wants to make a statement about the Thatcher administration. Stephen Graham gives an OUTSTANDING performance as the racist skinhead Combo.
It is scary real. The music, a blend of Ska, New Wave, Reggae, captures the year very well (for those of us who remember it).
