This movie was so powerful. The relationships Shaun had with Woody and the gang was just stunning and I constantly found myself laughing and wanting to run along side them in their excursions. The emotions felt so real and equally enticing.
Even when things became destructive, I couldn't take my eyes off the screen. I find that grittiness of the specific time period so compelling, and director Shane Meadows did a fantastic job capturing that.
This movie definitely served my appetite.
