Hate and fear can be powerful tools. Young Shaun encounters two leaders; one is friendly, kind and welcoming if a bit weak; the other is violent, angry, strong and charismatic. Both leaders have advantages and flaws, but Shaun needs to learn for himself who he wants to be like.
I don't want to spoil the film for those who haven't seen it, but I will say the final shot is extremely powerful, surprising, and daring.
