This is a triumphant in every sense of the word. Shane Meadows has crafted a beautifully devestating masterpiece that suceeds in every way. The characters are fantastically written, and portrayed and the screenplay is immaculate.
This is a film that despite all the drama involved, it turns into a horror and gets better as the characters and the story progresses. The soundtrack is also incredible, right up until it's heart-breaking conclusion.
This is one of the finest British films to ever be released. This Is England.
