THIS IS BORING. Don't bite on the connection to "Knocked Up", which was a fresh and funny movie. This was a showcase for Apatow to use his wife and children without the bang of any real talent other than Rudd.
Paul Rudd on his best is controlled craze that is very entertaining. Rudd on his worst is over the top and awkward to watch. Apatow needs to put a little effort in his next project and use the surplus of talented actors and actresses that made many of his movies 5 star, must see.
About 20 minutes in, I was hoping that "This is 40" meant that the movie would be 40 minutes long. No such luck.
