This is 40 can be funny at times, or maybe I should say amusing. Certainly not Judd Apatow's best film, but still a decent one. I always love Paul Rudd, period. He makes most movies even a little bit better for me.
I do feel that it's too long, and a lot of great actors were pretty much wasted. Melissa McCarthy is in it for a very short amount of time and completely killed it. It's not bad for a watch.
