This is 40 definitely has some funny moments. It uses common ailments around the house to really critique life through a comedic way. Making fun of itself in ways, it is the better version of similar movies such as Knocked Up.
However, although it has the classic Judd Apatow touch, it is also just another average Judd Apatow movie that has so many unnecessary tidbits that detract from the movie. It is a good, just not that good.
