Review of This Is 40 (2012) by Simon T — 24 Jan 2015
This has so many good elements: laugh-out-loud sequences with Albert Brooks, nicely underplayed performances by Paul Rudd and John Lithgow. Unfortunately it also doesn't know when to stop and towards the end becomes nauseatingly gloopy.
It's also obsessed with genitalia, as if a hormonal sixteen year-old had written it.
