The film overall doesn't make a strong coherent singular plot all from these multiple distant scenes due to its' purpose of mainly being more of a life representation than a movie theatrical presentation, and Judd Apatow doesn't exactly impress with his constant obsession to talk about the age number 40 and making family life and family problems as the subject of a theatrical movie presentation.
