I recommend this film to ALL movie goers! In this documentary film the MPAA is ALMOST completely exposed with the hiring of a private investigator to do the dirty work (really interesting to watch)... it's shocking and infuriating how a handful of people decide what rating each film will have (G, PG, PG-13, R, or NC-17) based on their own individual morals and ideas (with no set guidelines or rules)- and said handful of people are kept secret in order to protect them from outside "pressures".

BTW, the NC-17 rating will ensure that a film (with the exception of a few lucky films) will not be picked up by distributors and therefore not be seen in theaters AND will also not be available at large movie rental companies, e.

G. Blockbuster. What was the hardest to grasp was the fact that extreme graphic violence is considered more "wholesome" than a split-second glimpse of genitalia... unbelievable.
