A film that points out inconsistency in the MPAA's rating system and the death knell of an "NC-17" rating. They proceeded to do this by bringing forward numerous guests with axes to grind, and hiring a P.I. in what would surprisingly turn out to be the dullest scenes in the film by far. Seemed like it would pick up when the movie was submitted to the MPAA but ... no.
It's not that I don't agree with the director, but he needed more focus on the movies themselves, and less focus on everything else. Dull.
