Review of This Boy's Life (1993) by Gareth L — 21 Nov 2008
This film is a tour de force from di caprio and to a lesser extent de niro (he just has to turn up and he's brilliant) a really good narrative (which I didnt know was based an a supposed true story) not sure about leos elvis (flock of seagulls hairstyle) I was watching it on an off chance and really enjoyed it, not really a classic but a film where you could tell there was a star in the making (and elisza dusku and toby maguire get some screen time) and ellen barkin in her day would get a serious portion 1960's style (dont look at my face!!!).
