A great retrospective film based off the author's poignant yet, eerie experience with a controlling step-father and wry mother who isn't aware of the abusive events that occur between her son Tobias and her cynical husband.
Tobias is faced with living in unknown town, reckless friends, and his step-father's compulsive rules. Leo has truly stole my heart again in a heart-felt coming of age film.
