Review of Thirteen Days (2000) by Connor _ — 12 Feb 2010
Bruce Greenwood's nod-worthy acting makes up for corny dialogue. The writing isn't great and it's often pretty predictable. It drones on most of the time, dragging out the event and trying too hard to dramatize it.
Kevin Costner's accent is annoyingly fake and he says all his lines with the same "the country is depending on you doing what I say now!" expression, which gets awfully boring after a while.
Towards the end, though, it got better. Greenwood mastered the Kennedy part perfectly, and he was the highpoint of the film. 6.7/10.
