Review of Thirteen Days (2000) by Arquimides M — 14 Jun 2010
This taut political thriller manages to capture interest despite us knowing how the story ends. Although there have been subsequent questions about how accurate the individual events and people portrayed are (leaving the film to be correctly considered not in the documentary mould), how tightly the film was constructed manage to produce a compelling film.
I was not convinced at the choice of actors at the beginning, but Costnerâ??s accent aside, they won me over.
