Predicatable Hollywood melodrama ruins what could have been an interesting historical film.
B&W irritating, as are the random films of nuclear explosions. Boston accents clearly phony and irritating. The attempt to show the personal angle by including O'Donnell's family is a mistake.
Two stars are purely for content and not the film itself.
