Review of Thirteen Days (2000) by Ryan L — 09 Jan 2008
A very interesting movie with great performances from Bruce Greenwood and Steven Culp, but Kevin Costner's character is inexplicably the main character, and has more of a Kennedy accent than Kennedy himself.
Costner's accent is so over the top that it's hard to listen to him speak, and I would rather that the character of John F. Kennedy would be the main character (he certainly seems like it most of the time anyway).
Very good movie, though minorly flawed, but it's a very revealing movie about a dangerous time in the world.
