Review of Thirteen Days (2000) by Javier M — 27 Jun 2011
Solid policy-making portrayal, with elaborate dialogues conveying both wily manoeuvring between US branches of Government and the best of foreign affairs as high-stakes chess. However, "13 Days" misses a chance for outstanding drama in failing to train the spotlight on JFK- the man.
Overawe at a larger-than-life character or Mr Costner stealing the show?
