Review of Thirteen (1988) by Grant S — 05 Nov 2011
Gritty, and depressing. Well made and acted. However, the characters, especially the teenagers, are so loathsome and irritating that it is hard to actually like this movie.
On the up side, it should put you off having kids.
Good performances all round, especially from (then 15-years old) Evan Rachel Wood and Holly Hunter.
