Review of Thirteen (1974) by Dan D — 05 Sep 2010
Thirteen is disturbing in the same way as Boy's Don't Cry, but that only serves tom ake it so much more worthy of its independent status. Brilliant performances and a clever screenplay as well as an unmatchable style from Hardwicke take a seemingly ordinary film at first glance and turn it into quality filmmaking.
