'Tings nah run we!'If you get as high as we did before watching the film, you may also be confused by the opening shots: the 80s-sultry lighting on the lovemaking scene with island R&B playing IS NOT A PORN.
It is the badman-adventures of Capone, Ratty, Razor, Wonnie(unforgettable), Not Nice and others--can I get a LORDAMERCY? One-liners, nicknames and montages litter the colorful landscape of this film and it's easy to laugh at.
At the same time, you have to tip your hat to a film that tried to involve the local community at every step of production while trying to address the problem of Jamaican gun-violence.
