Review of Third Person (2014) by John H — 16 Jul 2014
Haggis tells the story of a writer facing writer's block with his mistress wanting him to critique her writing... He mulls over the characters he's created as they take over his life. Turns out in a moment of distraction his son drowned in the home swimming pool.
His wife throws him out of the house and eschews laps because the pool brings sad memories. The characters live in Rome (Aiden Quinn) and New York City (James Franco). These figments comprise the bulk of the movie's interest.
