Review of Thinner (1996) by Chassis28 — 08 May 2021
Directed by Tom Holland (the director of Fright Night & Child's Play, for those of you unaware of those horror classics). Robert John Burke (Law & Order SVU) gives a solid performance as the obese lawyer who is cursed by a gypsy to lose weight until he perishes.
He accidentally runs down a gypsy's relative with his car and that is why she curse him for revenge. This movie was highly underrated in 1996 and it still is today. It is a memorable and chilling horror parable from the prolific Stephen King.
