Review of Think Like a Man Too (2014) by Amber P — 20 May 2014
This next bid in the sequel continues with over the top laughter. However, the laughter is spaced between excessively long melodrama. The old cast is back with the addition of La La Anthony and Wendi McClendon-Covey.
The addition of Covey provides most of the additional laughs. I'm still trying to figure out why Anthony fell into this group. She is not part of the story nor does she add any laughs to the ensemble.
This film has some big laughs but some jokes go by as a big miss. It is a watchable film but the magic is missing. It's like when someone tries to make your mother's gumbo. It's close but it misses which makes it unsatisfying.
The movie needs Momma's foot in it.
