Review of Things We Lost in the Fire (2007) by Jessica C — 01 Dec 2008
Don't like watching movies about death or grief, but this was so much more than that. Also don't like movies about recovering addicts, but this was so much more than that. It reminds us of how painful it is to be human sometimes and how we bear with one another even when we're afraid of one another and don;t think we have anything in common.
A good reminder of helping the "least of these" and of not judging so quickly. For adults, even though the kids play a central role in the plot.
