Review of Things We Lost in the Fire (2007) by Francie M — 04 Jan 2009

For some reason this movie touched me a lot even though it is very dark and sad one. I think this was the strongest performance from both Del Toro and Berry, they were so believable and so real. When a woman with two children loses her husband tragically in a shooting incident and ends up helping his drug addict friend, it means chaos and some tough times for both of them.

I have to say this was one of the best movies I've seen in a long time.
