A story that shifts between being on the one hand unrealistically cheesy with meaningless close-ups and one-liners, and on the other hand gripping, emotional and thoughtful. Both irritating and enjoyable, in other words.
Halle Berry and Benicio Del Toro performs fantastic, and forms a good duo in the leading roles. Unfortunately some of the actors in the supporting roles performs poorly and ruins a few scenes. Watchable and interesting while it lasted, but not as memorable and important as it could have been.
