Review of Things to Do in Denver When You're Dead (1995) by Luca Z — 18 May 2007

1995: after Tarantino's rise, here's this highly-influenced, but very enjoyable thriller.

I loved many elements in it: first, the plot & characters (the ones played by Walken, Lloyd, Williams & Buscemi) are great. Just Andy Garcia seems so out of place! He's so unexpressive! But this doesn't ruin the story or the atmosphere, because there's a perfect balance of violence, thrills and romance. I think this is one of the most underrated movies ever!
