Review of Thieves Like Us (1974) by John P — 31 Oct 2011
Robert Altman is unique. As Ebert says about this,,,, "Altman may not tell a story better than any one, but he sees one with great clarity and tenderness." That is what he does here, and makes us interested in characters that may be otherwise uninteresting.
This was enjoyable, as all Altman movies are, and glad I got to see it, Keith Carradine is good as is Shelley Duvall.
