Review of Thieves Like Us (1974) by Stella D — 28 Feb 2009
A familiar story: guys break out of jail and rob a bunch of banks, live life on the run, find women and then the law catches up with them. maybe I wasn't in the right mood for this one - I usually like altman films; I won't say I didn't like it but the story wasn't strong enough to really keep me interested.
.. I found myself checking the time. visually, as a period piece, it's great. but in my opinion it's a little too long for the story it's trying to tell.
