Review of Thief (1981) by Shaun B — 14 Jan 2014
See where Michael Mann (HEAT, ALI, MIAMI VICE) got started. Can't go wrong with James Caan in the typical role he was born to play. The ending leaves a lot to be desired and there are some minor quibbles about how long some scenes take when compared to his masterpiece HEAT (which lies in the same gangster, high society thief elements).
It's a great first effort recommended most to those who enjoy heist movies.
