Review of They Were Expendable (1945) by Tanner B — 21 Dec 2014

4/4.
One of the most underrated films of all-time is really one of the best of all films. Magnificent adaption of William L. White's Novel set during WWII, of the dramatized account of the role of the American PT Boats in the defense of the Philippines during the war. Direction, acting, score, photography, screenplay, all great.
