It's not a perfectly made movie on a technical or plot level, but it has a few good scares and a tense ending. In terms of mental illness, it's empathetic and interesting. It's not for everyone and it could move a lot faster, but it's like oatmeal.
It's fine to eat, there's a few great bites, and you know it was the right choice when you're done.
