John Carpenter's classic tale of paranoia and an anti authority anthem! Rowdy Roddy Piper is superb as the everyman caught up in a revolution he doesn't understand,police chase off a protest group,Roddy finds a box of sunglasses,puts a pair on and WOW the movie throws a curveball! Half the population are aliens who look like zombies,the rest are unaware.

Humans are bred like cattle! We've been had! Look at the billboards,newspapers,even your dollar bills,the subliminal messages become clear! OBEY,CONSUME,REPRODUCE,DO NOT QUESTION AUTHORITY! A subversive mindfuck of a movie with plenty of action and a scifi element,hilarious twists at end!
