They Came Together is a spoof movie that's spoofing romantic comedies. It stars Paul Rudd and Amy Poehler as Joel and Molly who are having dinner with another couple and the question how did you two meet comes up and for the next hour and 23 min we learn how they met each other in sometimes funny often very stupid ways.
I liked this movie some of it is very stupid but I laughed most of the time. But there are those spots where a joke will fail terribly and it'll suck some of the life out of the movie but then another joke will come and breathe some life back into it.
It's definitely not a perfect spoof movie but I liked it and some of the absurdness works in the movie's favor.
