Review of They Came to Blow Up America (1943) by Allan C — 16 May 2014
Very loosely based on historical events, this WWII propaganda pieces unfortunately doesn't hold up over the test of time, despise a solid cast. Georege Sanders goes undercover as a Nazi to uncover a dastardly Nazi plot to, you guessed it, blow up America.
Ward Bond is onboard to also fight the dirty Nazis and you've also got Charles McGraw and John "Schultz" Banner of "Hogan's Hero's" fame playing dirty Nazis. Despite a silly story, the cast makes it worth watching.
