Review of They Came from Beyond Space (1967) by Christopher S — 03 Aug 2008
Fun 60s British sci-fi film may not have the best special effects or production values, but it does have malevolent moon rocks, alien telepathy, a mild-mannered scientist turned two-fisted hero, ray guns, government conspiracies, and protective headgear.
The story is not as strong as some other British sci-fi films of the era - such as the Quatermass series - but it's fast-paced plot, snappy jazz score, and whacked-out wide-angle death scenes make it a lot of fun for B-movie fans.
