In this movie they actually make silver pots for the head to protect the wearer from alien mind control, wich is culturally and psychiatrically significant. The name of the original book:"the gods hate Kansas.
" sounds fun, but no intentional humour here. Ridiculous scifi romp made with a stiff upper lip.
