Aye carumba! I am sympathetic to this film because I believe there was a genuine desire to make people laugh. Unfortunately, I struggled to even laugh AT it. Now THAT'S a bad movie. So many absurdist comical opportunities sadly wasted.
Believe me or not, I think in the right hands, this could be a very funny remake. But, I don't think that'll happen, so in the meantime we have this hunk a junk. Oh and to add a nail into my pinkie - I made the mistake of buying this on DVD (thinking it'd be alright) before watching it.
