Review of Thesis (1996) by Reynald C — 01 Mar 2007
This DVD has been gathering dust in my bookshelf for quite a while now. And finally, I've seen it! What can I say, I have always been a fan of Amenabar and watching Martinez and Noriega in their earlier days is such a treat.
This movie is intense and it offers a lot of twists only to come back to its original suspects. Nevertheless, I love the use of music, perspectives in this one and I really appreciated a certain homage to "Silence of the Lambs".
I was watching it with the lights out but halfway though the movie, I turned it on because it was undeniably freaky and really intense. At the end, a really good thriller only that it kind of overstayed its welcome.
