There's Something About Mary has many stupid moments, inconsistency and it's thin plot, but they're overshadowed by the great comedic performances of Cameron Diaz, Ben Stiller and Matt Dillon, and some of the moments of shocking humour which define the style of The Farrelly Brothers.
