Review of There's Always Tomorrow (1956) by James-Masaki R — 24 Oct 2011
Fred MacMurray and Barbara Stanwyck come together again as they did in "Double Indemnity", but less salacious and no murder involved here. Here's Sirk directing what he does best, and this time unusually in the point of view of the seemingly lonely father and husband played by MacMurray, whose children and wife seemingly care less and less about him as time goes on.
But once a woman from his past comes into the picture again, he is about to risk his comfortable life for something wonderful yet wrong...
