Review of There Will Be Blood (2007) by Richard J — 05 Feb 2015
Raw and seething with animosity, it brings to light the very worst in it's protagonists or rather it's antagonists... I was enchanted with Daniel Day Lewis's performance as his slow burn into greed to full blown madness as he nears his dark victory.
I adored this film not only as a grim fable but more as a mirror to our present societal factions and applications we allow men commit such heinous acts with little to no regard for others. See this movie and come out a new man see this film and come out with a new perspective.
.. the man's ideals are infectious but luckily for us... we have a choice in the end.
