What do you get when you cross a brilliant director with a brilliant actor? This movie. PT Anderson's direction and the always spectacular Daniel Day Lewis make this film captivating as well as intellectually stimulating It raises issues about religion, power, and how ruthless businessman can be sociopaths, which is a theme being dealt with to this day.
