I'm just really ambivalent about this movie. I didn't care for the air raid siren music, it was longer than I like my theatrical experiences to be and well, I just don't get the point of the movie and thought shit wasn't explained clearly.
Some parts of it were genius (the scene in the bowling alley for one) and Day-Lewis does give a great performance. After watching it, I learned it is based on an Upton Sinclair novel which probably explains my distaste for it.
He was a horrid little prick and could have used some friends/Prozac.
